Ongoing engagement

CFO Advisory

Bring stronger financial judgment to the next stage of your business — and stay in greater control of how it performs and where it is going.

The Overview

What is CFO Advisory?

Successful businesses often reach a stage where the questions get harder, the stakes get higher, and the right answer is not always obvious.

CFO Advisory is an ongoing relationship built around exactly that — bringing stronger financial judgment to the decisions ahead.

In an owner-led business, those decisions are personal. They affect your money, your reputation, your employees, your family, and the future you are trying to build. That is the lens I bring to every conversation.

The relationship begins with a Financial Pressure Test, giving us a shared understanding of what the business’s recent history may be revealing before we begin looking ahead month by month.

decision support

Strengthen the decisions that shape what comes next

As the business grows and changes, new questions begin to surface. Some involve a major commitment. Others start as a concern, an opportunity, or a sense that something isn’t adding up.

I help identify the financial questions that matter most, test the assumptions behind them, and think through the possible effects before you move forward.

I will tell you what I see and push back when I think something does not hold up.

The goal is not more analysis for its own sake. It is better-informed decisions, stronger follow-through, and a business that keeps moving toward what you want from it.

the monthly outlook

See what may be ahead while you still have options

Standard financial reports can tell you what happened. They cannot tell you everything that may happen next — or what you should do about it.

We maintain a month-by-month financial outlook and update it as actual results, assumptions, and circumstances change.

Each month, I bring the most important changes and emerging questions into view:

→

What changed from what we expected?

→

What could it mean for the months ahead?

→

Is a red flag or opportunity beginning to emerge?

→

Does something need to change now?

Cash is an important part of that view — not only how much is in the bank today, but where cash may be heading, what could tighten it, and how upcoming decisions may affect the room you have to operate.

The outlook is not a rigid budget or a promise about the future. It is a working financial view that gives you more time to understand what is changing and respond before your choices become narrower or more expensive.

staying the course

Keep the business moving toward what you want

The work begins with what you want from the business and where you want to take it next. Throughout the year, we keep coming back to that direction.

Are the decisions being made, the results being produced, and the changes taking place moving the business closer to what you want?

A business can drift through growth, changing circumstances, or a series of reasonable choices that gradually pull it off course. Part of my role is to recognize that possibility, bring it forward, and help you think through what may need to change.

Ownership can be isolating. You still have to lead the next stage of the business, but you do not have to carry every financial question alone. CFO Advisory gives you an experienced financial thinking partner who understands what is at stake, offers candid perspective, and keeps the conversation focused on the business you are trying to build.
