For advisors
And I’m interested in building relationships with the professionals who advise them.
The work
I work with established business owners who want to understand where the business appears to be heading, evaluate an important financial decision, or bring stronger financial judgment to the next stage of the company.
Through Decision Modeling and CFO Advisory, I connect the financial history, the owner’s experience, and the choices ahead.
The goal is to help the owner better understand the possible effects on cash, profitability, flexibility, and the future of the business before important decisions are made.
The work is generally best suited to owner-led businesses with approximately $1 million to $15 million in annual revenue. However, fit depends more on the owner’s situation and the financial stakes involved than on a specific revenue number.
Working alongside you
Most owners I work with already have trusted professional advisors. I respect those relationships and work within a distinct role.
My focus is helping the owner look ahead, understand the financial implications of important choices, and think through questions that may not fit neatly within any one advisor’s traditional role.
When another advisor’s experience or expertise would be useful, I am always comfortable bringing them into the conversation.
The objective is to strengthen the support around the owner—not create competition, confusion, or unnecessary overlap.
The Northline story
The Northline story shows how I approach a successful, growing business when the next move is not as simple as the numbers may suggest.
I start with the owner's context, then connect it to the company's financial history and industry comparison. The goal is not to arrive with a predetermined answer. It's to understand what's driving the business and which questions deserve attention before the next decision.
For an advisor, Northline is also a practical example of the role I can play alongside the relationships already in place: adding another financial perspective without replacing the professionals the owner already trusts.
The story may be fictional. The situation is not.
Advisor contact
You do not need to have a client or referral in mind. I am interested in getting to know thoughtful professionals, learning more about the work they do, and giving them a chance to understand mine.
Sometimes that may lead to an introduction or an opportunity to collaborate. Sometimes it may simply mean knowing whom to call when the right question comes up.
If you serve owner-led businesses and believe our work may complement one another, I would welcome a conversation.
